Teacher/Studio Manager
Chelsea Bain
Chelsea began taking Pilates at age 16 in her hometown of Scottsdale Arizona. She found a love for the practice through her mom who encouraged her to try it to help with posture as Chelsea competed at a high level showing horses in the APHA. When she turned 19 she moved to Nashville to pursue a music career and was introduced to Dede Brignardello to continue her Pilates practice.
Eventually Dede suggested Chelsea become certified since she loved it so much and in 2021 she completed her certification with Romana’s Pilates in Fort Lauderdale!
Chelsea’s goal as an instructor is to help others realize all the benefits of the practice and reach the goals they have for themselves!
Apprentice
Laura Shmerling
Laura, a Nashville native, started doing Pilates on a regular basis in 2020 in the postpartum period after her third child. It was a transformative practice getting to a level of strength and flexibility she did not reach even before children. As an avid runner she also saw the benefits during and after runs. She was hooked. With a Banking career in the rearview, she decided to take her love of Pilates to the next level. Currently, Laura is a Romana's Pilates apprentice. She is looking forward to spreading the gift of Romana's Pilates, especially to postpartum Moms! In addition to her Pilates apprenticeship Laura also received a certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) personal training certification.
